Theodore Herman Albert Dreiser (27 de agosto de 1871 – 28 de diciembre de 1945) fue un novelista y periodista estadounidense de la escuela naturalista. Sus novelas solían tener como protagonistas a personajes que alcanzaban sus objetivos pese a carecer de un código moral firme, y situaciones literarias que se parecen más a estudios de la naturaleza que a relatos de elección y voluntad.
