Peter Singer

Peter Albert David Singer AC (nacido el 6 de julio de 1946) es un filósofo moral australiano y profesor Ira W. DeCamp de Bioética en la Universidad de Princeton. Se especializa en ética aplicada y aborda las cuestiones morales desde una perspectiva secular y utilitarista. Es conocido sobre todo por su libro *Animal Liberation* (1975), en el que defiende el veganismo, y por su ensayo «Famine, Affluence, and Morality», en el que sostiene que debemos donar dinero para ayudar a los pobres del mundo.
