Atelier 5

"Atelier 5 has been operating for more than 45 years and is one of Switzerland's most important architectural offices. Their housing estates and urban projects count amongst the most significant examples of post-war residential structures in the world. A characteristic of their architecture is that it does not succumb to passing trends but continually seeks to create new prototypes.

In their designs, they explore the relationship between form and function, ensuring that social needs and the needs of the occupants are given primary consideration." "This Studio Paperback reviews their entire portfolio - from single family housing to public buildings."--BOOK JACKET.
