COMIC BOOK CRIMINAL SHELBY WOO 7 (Mystery Files of Shelby Woo)

Hot young comic book creator Dirk Vista is missing! And right before the launch of his new comic book, "Spaceman." Who would kidnap the artist--and why?

Was it the mysterious fan who's been following Dirk in disguise? How far would she go to meet her idol? Or was it Dirk's new agent, Ashley Prescott? Would she do anything to pull a major publicity stunt--even kidnap her own client? What about Mack Higgins, the artist who helped Dirk get his start in the comic business? Has this creator of superheroes turned into a villain?

Shelby knows there's nothing comical about this case. She's determined to catch the kidnapper--faster than you can say "Thwack! Splat! Kapow!"
