David Rolfe Graeber (/ˈɡreɪbər/; 12 de febrero de 1961 – 2 de septiembre de 2020) fue un antropólogo, activista anarquista y escritor estadounidense, conocido por sus libros *Deuda: los primeros 5000 años* (2011), *La utopía de las normas* (2015) y *Trabajos de mierda: una teoría* (2018). Fue profesor de antropología en la London School of Economics.
Como profesor adjunto y profesor asociado de antropología en Yale entre 1998 y 2007, se especializó en teorías del valor y en teoría social. La decisión de la universidad de no renovarle el contrato, justo cuando habría llegado a ser elegible para la titularidad, provocó una polémica académica y una petición que reunió más de 4500 firmas. Después, de 2007 a 2013, fue profesor titular (Reader) de antropología social en Goldsmiths, Universidad de Londres.
