
Paul Bede Johnson

Paul Bede Johnson est un journaliste, historien, rédacteur de discours et écrivain anglais. Il a fait ses études dans l'établissement privé jésuite de Stonyhurst College, puis au Magdalen College d'Oxford. Johnson s'est fait connaître dans les années 1950 en écrivant pour le magazine New Statesman, dont il est devenu plus tard le rédacteur en chef.
Auteur prolifique, il a signé plus de 40 ouvrages et collaboré à de nombreux journaux et magazines. Son premier livre, consacré à la guerre de Suez, est paru en 1957. Il a été successivement éditorialiste, rédacteur en chef adjoint puis rédacteur en chef du magazine New Statesman de 1965 à 1970. Source : Wikipédia
