E. H. Gombrich

Sir Ernst Hans Josef Gombrich, OM, CBE (30 de marzo de 1909 – 3 de noviembre de 2001) fue un historiador del arte nacido en Austria que obtuvo la ciudadanía británica en 1947 y pasó la mayor parte de su vida profesional en el Reino Unido. Fue autor de numerosas obras de historia cultural y de historia del arte, entre ellas *La historia del arte*, libro considerado de manera generalizada una de las introducciones más accesibles a las artes visuales.
